At the time of Booking, the Affiliate shall pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the estimated charges to Charleston Black Cab Company for the purpose of reserving the services for a specific date/ time period. The total balance due will be charged to the credit card on file two weeks prior to the service.
Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity
Overtime charges for services will be billed to the credit card on file. You are given fifteen minutes grace period and then billed in½ hour at the applicable rate per hour
(1) The Client agrees to pay any additional charges incurred such as overtime, mileage, tolls or parking fees. CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY will provide an itemized invoice describing in detail each additional fee and the cost associated with such. (2) Both Charleston Black Cab Company and the Client shall inspect the vehicle prior to the services. Any prior damage shall be noted and recorded for the client's protection and safety. The vehicle shall be re-inspected upon conclusion of the engagement, by Charleston Black Cab Company and the client. Any new damage found in/on the vehicle will be the responsibility of the Client. The client will be charged for all repairs and any unusual cleaning that was caused by the Client or anyone accompanying the Client. (3) The client is responsible for all guest damages including vandalism and items lost or stolen from Charleston Black Cab Company. For all damages, missing or stolen items the client will be charged for replacement materials at cost plus $75 per hour labor, and any lost revenue during the down time.
All services cancelled OUTSIDE of 14 days for any reasons will forfeit the 25% deposit. All services cancelled inside 14 days for any reason will be assessed a full charge for services cancelled. Services scheduled within the 14 days of service are considered non­cancellable. All deposits are NON refundable. We are not responsible for delays or the termination of service caused by airlines, trains, and boats.
If you elect to pay for Cancellation Insurance at the time of booking you are allowed you to cancel all or any portion of your service up to 24 hours prior to the service date/time. With the insurance, we will reimburse you for all cancelled services, less the insurance, tax and any applicable booking fees.
If there are any changes to your transportation plans please let us know as soon as possible. If you need additional assistance, please call 843-216-2627. We are not responsible for last minute changes but will try to accommodate accordingly, if available and possible.
Our services are based on the information you have given. When you reserve and pay the deposit, we are making that reservation for the vehicle, date and times you provided. Any requests for changes in service, vehicle or rescheduling are subject to availability and must be made to our office at 843-216-2627. No changes from original reservation can be guaranteed. All services rescheduled/rebooked on the same day will be assessed a Rescheduling Fee equal to 20% of base fare or $20, whichever greater. Affiliates are subject to a Rescheduling Fee if they must reschedule on day of service for any reason.
It is the policy of Charleston Black Cab Company that no smoking takes place inside of a vehicle. The Affiliate will be held responsible for any damages or cleaning costs necessary due to violation of this policy. {see cleaning charges).
An automatic $250.00 charge per incident, NO EXCEPTIONS and this charge WILL be billed to the credit card on file.
CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY will strictly enforce State and Federal Laws and will maintain a zero-tolerance compliance policy that no alcoholic beverages be consumed or used by any person under the legal drinking age. The Client further understands and agrees that it is CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY's policy that no illegal drugs or illegal use of drugs, contraband or weapons be used or in the possession of any passenger during transport. In the event the vehicle is seized or damaged due to the Client's improper use of alcohol, weapons or illegal drugs or contraband, The Client shall be held responsible for additional charges due to down time in which the vehicle is unable to be hired out and for repairs to any damages. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of the bus during the trip. ''Contraband", "Drugs", and "Weapons" are defined and solely based on the discretion of the driver and/or CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY. CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY and the Driver has the right to end any service due to the possession, or improper use of Alcohol, Drugs, and Weapons by any passenger. The client and passengers will be responsible to find other transportation and forfeits their full fare.
The Client or anyone traveling in the vehicle under this Contract shall remain inside of the passenger cabin at all times while the vehicle is in motion and shall not stand or hang out of the escape hatches or windows. CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY will not be responsible for injuries that may occur due to misconduct while the vehicle is in motion, at a standstill or entering and exiting of the vehicle. The Client is responsible for the behavior, actions and damages caused by any guests or individuals the Client permits to join in using the vehicle service. For any actions, such as harassment, fighting, violence, damage to equipment and/or bus, toward the driver, staff or anyone else In or around the bus, the driver reserves the right to terminate tl]e trip. Thus, the client and passengers will be responsible to find other tranSRO forfeits their full fare.
Child seats are available upon request. There is a additional fee of $20 per seat provided. Please Note - Due to liability reasons, CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY is not responsible for fastening, tightening, application or anything else related your child's seat. It is the Client's Full Responsibility to make sure their child's seat are fastened and secured to their full satisfaction PRIOR to departure. Please check you child's seat(s} as it is not the driver's or CHARLESTON BLACK CAB COMPANY's responsibility to ensure proper application of child seats. Many seats are different and must be adjusted for individual child's size, height and weight.
There is a "Pet Fee" of $50 per animal to offset the cost of additional sanitation/cleaning required after the transport of pets. This fee will not apply to "Service Animals" but shall apply to Emotional Support/Therapy Animals.
The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the limousine caused during the duration of the rental by them or any members of their party. Company is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date.
We will not be responsible for lost items and accepts absolutely no liability for anything left behind, lost, missing or damaged. If something is left in the vehicle we will be glad to return it at our convenience. If shipping is required for return, that cost will be the responsibility of the Client. Any items left over thirty days will become the property of Charleston Black Cab Company and will be appropriately disposed of.
